I am a mother of three and a trained birth doula. At the moment I reside in Lithuania, where I provide prenatal and postpartum support to families in need.

The experience of birthing and mothering my first two children has changed the direction of my life and career. When I became pregnant with my second baby in 2017, I was living in Los Angeles, USA. After giving birth to our firstborn in Denmark, where antenatal care is primarily midwife-led, patient-centered, and focused on shared decision-making, giving birth in a way more medicalized birth culture felt scary and uncertain. We hired a doula at 36 weeks pregnant and were fully provided with the education and emotional support we had been searching for. I went on to have an incredibly empowering birth and since then felt an urge to provide that same level of support and care to others. I birthed my youngest daughter in Copenhagen, in the presence of my two older children, without fear, trusting my body and the process. Now I want every birthing person to feel empowered, safe, supported, and in control of their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

“I feel very lucky and grateful for the support, knowledge and love we got. I hope more women can experience such sisterhood in preparation for the wonder of birthing.”
